I figured you would. Straight a to b vehicle in needs nothing condition and 150k miles for $1,400. If it weren't for the fact it's going to be my commuter car and not much else I'd give it the murdersofa treatment. I might still considering the paint is a bit rough.

If I recall properly, 94-96 Gran Sports don't have the tri-shield on the grille, and since the grille looks to be that of a 94-96 Regal, I assume it's either a Custom or Limited sedan or Custom coupe (Limited coupes were discontinued for '94).

Limited Sedan. Just checked the KBB and I actually paid $178 under value.

Cool. This is not the thing I thought it'd be, what happened with the other thing?

I forget which one was the other thing. The Valiant? I didn't bother to look into that one because a 40 year old commuter car seemed like a bad idea if I didn't have another more reliable car.

I couldn't afford it and the house so I settled for a cheaper more reliable car and a house with a garage. I'll get some tools and build a rally car next year to make up for it.

Oh well it sounds like a good compromise, the garage is worth it.

Yeah, I want an engine lift and stand as well as a welder. All the cool stuff you can't get without a garage.

Fuck yeah! All the tools.
I stopped using the 'want' word and replaced it with 'need'. Want is like a wish, Need is a necessity. It works well in discussions with close family members. ;)

They are reliable transportation! I have both of my mothers in those vehicles. Watch for intake manifold gasket issues, very common. Lower intake manifolds OEM gaskets were made of plastic, which always need to be replaced. Also drain and fill coolant with fresh periodically, it's the old coolant which eats at the plastic bits. It's possible for the upper intake to get damage from the coolant as well.

Good! Great engine. You can add rear sway bars from the GS, it greatly improves the handling without changing the comfy ride much at all.
